Aloysius Atuegbu

Aloysius Atuegbu was one of Nigeria’s greatest all time footballers. Nicknamed Blockbuster for his ferocious shots, Aloy was born on April 29, 1953 in Jos. He played for Mighty Jets of Jos, but made his name while playing for Enugu Rangers International.

Aloysius who was capped 60 times for Nigeria, died on May 25th 2008.

Your Dad was a great footballer and did Nigeria proud by winning the 1980 African nations cup and I watched that match. I just got know today through Wikipedia and you can update his information with his pictures and more detailed information. May God continue to bless you.

The late Donatus Nwoga was a Professor of African Literature and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. King Onyeama of Eke

The King of Agbaja, Onyeama n’Eke was the greatest king in northern Igboland. He was probably the greatest Igbo king in living memory. From his palace in Eke, Onyeama reigned over the entire Agbaja, from Oji River though Udi and Ezeagu to the present-day political capital of Igboland, Enugu, and even Nkanu and Ogui communities. Onyeama was born circa 1870s, the youngest of the ten children of Özö Omulu Onwusi, a polygamous titled man of means, and an only son of his mother – Chinazungwa Ijeonyeabo of nearby Ebe community.
