Frank Nneji

Frank Nneji is the Managing Director, Associated Bus Company Plc (operator of ABC Transport) which is listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and Chairman Rapido Audio-visual products Limited (the leading producers and marketers of audio-visual products in West Africa. He is a Zoology graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and hails from Ezuhu Nguru, in Mbaise, Imo State. Damian Anyanwu

Damian is a U.S-based Nigerian scientist best know for building Nigeria’s fisrt private radio station – Radio Mbaise – in 1979. Few years later, 1983 Anyanwu was invited by former Nigerian President, Alhaji Shehu Shergari who decorated Chief Anyanwu with a National award, for his outstanding contributions to Mankind. His Radio transmitters were made from herbal granules stuffed in empty tins, wires and improvised local material. Former US president, George W. Bush invited Chief Anyanwu to Washington D.C for a presidential dinner where he was honoured by the President and his cabinet. Over the course of his career Chief Anyanwu always creates phenomenal inventions and innovations to mankind. His breakthrough includes converting the existing short waves Radio transmitters to medium waves band. His research centre has built television transmitters which measures a match box to conventional products. Damian hails from Amaku, Aboh Mbaise and is now based in the USA.

Donatus Ibeakwadalam Nwoga

The late Donatus Nwoga was a Professor of African Literature and the Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Donatus was the Secretary of the Planning and Management Committee of the former Eastern Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (1970); member of the Board of the former East-Central State Broadcasting Corporation (1974-76); member of the former East-Central State Library Board (1975-76); and former member of Imo State Library Board (1977-79). Rita Dominic

Rita Nkem Dominic Waturuocha is an actress and an A-listed Nollywood star. She is a memeber of the Royal Waturuocha family of Aborh Mbaise local government area in Imo State. Kanayo O. Kanayo

Kanayo. O. Kanayo whose real name is Anayo Modestus Onyekwere hails from Umueze Oboama in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA. Kanayo O. Kanayo is his professional name Anayo is a front-runner in the Nollywood film industry and one of the oldest Nollywood actors still standing, having been in the industry right from its inception in 1992. He came to prominence as Chief Omego in “Living in Bondage”. Genevieve Nnaji

Genevieve Nnaji is a popular actress from Mbaise in Imo State, Nigeria. She attended Girls Secondary School Akwakuma, Owerri, Imo State and the University of Lagos. Genevieve found mainstream success in Nollywood, Nigeria’s movie industry’s nickname, in 1998, and has consistently added accolades, such as singer, producer to her resume. In 2004 she became the face for Lux soap in a highly lucrative sponsorship deal. Among other actors and actresses, she released her first album, titled No More, in 2005, following a one year acting ban in Nigeria. In May 2008, Nnaji launched her clothing line St. Genevieve which was a success with the Nigerian public.
