Lonzo Nzekwe

Lonzo Nzekwe is the producer, director and writer of award-winning movie, 'Anchor Baby' ‘Anchor Baby’ tells the story of Joyce (played by Omoni Oboli) and Paul Unanga (played by Sam Sarpong), a married illegal immigrant couple living in the US; they have been ordered by the US immigration to leave the country by voluntary departure. They agree to leave; but only after Joyce who is 5months pregnant delivers her baby inside the US. This will guarantee automatic citizenship for their child. Ignoring the deportation order, the couple goes into hiding. Paul was later caught and deported while Joyce stayed back to struggle on her own to achieve their dream. ‘Anchor Baby’ has won international awards including the Best Film award at the 2010 Harlem International Film Festival and has been officially accepted to screen at the ‘Fans of Film’ film festival in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Chioma Nnamaka

Chioma Nnamaka (born June 15, 1985 in Uppsala, Uppland, Sweden) is a professional basketball player of Swedish and Igbo heritage She is a member of the WNBA's Atlanta Dream. Chioma attended high school at Fryshusets Kunskaps Centrum. Playing basketball, she won the Swedish Championship on three occasions. Nnamaka then went to the United States to attend Georgia Tech. She made the Dean's list studying International Affairs, and played basketball for the Yellow Jackets. Nnamaka was selected 21st overall in the 2008 WNBA Draft by the San Antonio Silver Stars with their first pick. She was the highest draft pick ever chosen from Georgia Tech. She was then traded on the same day to the expansion team Atlanta Dream, where she completed her rookie season. On January 14, 2009 Nnamaka was waived by the Dream, she currently plays for Union Hainaut in France.

Uzoma Nwachukwu

One to watch Uzoma Nwachukwu, a do-it-all receiver with excellent speed and great route running ability, is on pace to be the most prolific receiver in Texas A&M history. As a junior, Uzoma caught 22 passes for 335 yards and six touchdowns. Two years ago, Uzoma burst onto the scene as a sophomore, hauling in 37 passes for 617 yards and a pair of scores. Nwachukwu was a four-star receiver on a state championship team. 20 year old Uzoma who chose A&M over Oklahoma and Notre is predicted to be a potential NFL-caliber leading receiver.
