Nnena Ukuku

Nnena Ukuku is Co-Founder and CEO of Black Founders Startup Ventures. Black Founders aims to increase the number and visibility of black entrepreneurs by connecting and equipping the entrepreneur. Nnena Ukuku is also an attorney who works with early stage start-ups. She works with them because, like her, they believe they can change their world and are passionate. Yvonne Okoro

Born Yvonne Chinyere Okereke Okoro to a Nigerian father and Ghanaian mother, Yvonne attended Achimota Preparatory School, Lincoln Community School and Faith Montessori School. For her Senior Secondary School, she attended Mfanstiman Girls Senior High School. On completing her Secondary education, proceeded to University of Ghana, Legon where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and linguistics. She moved on to the University De Not in France to study Press Civilization, Drama and Marketing. After her Senior High Education in 2002, she took up acting as a career and first featured in the movie ‘Sticking to the Promise’. Since then, she has featured in over 20 movies. Yvonne Okoro was recently honoured with a Distinguished Achievement Award at this year’s Nigeria Excellence Awards and nominated for AMAA Best Actress in the Leading Role Category for her role in ‘Single Six’.

Chikodili Emelumadu

Chikodili Emelumadu is a journalist, blogger, broadcaster, and author. She disappointed her father by declining to study medicine, opting instead to dwell in the world of writing where she had always been comfortable. She chose to indulge her vivid imagination and flights of fancy with a degree in English from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka. Chikodili left Awka to complete a Masters degree in Cross-cultural Communications at the University of Newcastle, in England. While training for a professional qualification in journalism at Harlow College, she wrote for community newspapers before joining the BBC. Ugochi Anyaka

Ugochi is a presenter and news anchor at Aso Radio and TV Abuja. She recently won the United Nations Environment Programme's Young Environmental Journalist Award (YEJA), beating over 120 entries from reporters across Africa. Ugochi Anyaka (29) received her award at a special ceremony held during the 12th Special Session of the UNEP Governing Council / Global Ministerial Environment Forum in Nairobi, Kenya. The winning report is entitled Saving the Trees for Paper Briquettes. The YEJA jury described Ms. Anyaka's winning entry as a "well-researched report that clearly explained the essence of reducing green house gas emissions and the need for creating environmental development in Africa". Chinedu Okoli

Chinedu Okoli a.k.a. Flavour N'abania who is well known for his ability to sing fluently in the Igbo language, was born in Enugu State, Nigeria on the 23rd of November 1983. His family are originally from Umunze in Orumba South LGA, Anambra State, Nigeria. He signed to 2nite Entertainment Music Label and in 2010 and released his second album, Uplifted which contains some of his biggest hits including the popular track Nwa Baby (Ashawo). In July 2011, Flavour and the record label he was signed onto decided to mutually terminate their contract due to dissatisfaction on both parts.
