Angela Onyeador

Ms. Angela Onyeador is a Lagos socialite, a former beauty pageant/organiser and founder of African Foundation for Arts. Born to Mr. Alexander Onyeador from Arochukwu in Abia State, Angela and her siblings were brought up in Shell camp in Port Harcourt, Rivers state. Angela attended Shell Camp primary school before proceeding to Queens College, Lagos. She later attended the University College London where she graduated with a degree in Psychology. In her fifties, Ms Onyeador is still regarded as one of the most beautiful women in Nigeria. Angela will always be remembered as a pioneer of beauty pageants in Nigeria.

Chika Okpala

Chief Chika Okpala, aka, Chief Zebrudaya Okoroigwe Nwogbo alias 4:30, is one of Nigeria's greatest comedians. His TV comedy series 'New Masquerade' was probably the funniest of all TV comedies in Nigeria. It ran from 1983-1993. Chika became famous for using incorrect English in his role as Chief Zebrudaya and continued with that style years after New Masquerade was rested. Chika was born in 1950 and attended St. Paul’s CMS School, Ebenisi-Nnobi, Government School Ahoada Rivers State Baptist Day School and University of Nigeria, Nsukka.The entertainer who has bagged such national honors as MON and MFR. Daniel Anyiam

Daniel Amobi Amadi Anyiam (November 26, 1926 – July 6, 1977) was a Nigerian football player and coach who was the national football coach of the country from 1954-1956 and again from 1964-1965. Prior to training as a coach, he was a player and was the first captain of the national team in 1949. He was also the first coach of Enugu Rangers and was selector for the national team after the Biafran War. A stadium in Owerri is named after him. He went to C.M.S. Central School, Nkwerre, Orlu, Etinan Institute, and Government Teacher's College, Calabar. He worked in the press offices of the West African Pilot briefly and then joined the staff of U.A.C. in Lagos where he also played football. He was U.A.C.'s captain when they won the 1950 Governor's Cup.

Nnenna Ogwo

Nnenna started playing the piano at age six, studying at the Peabody Conservatory Preparatory and graduating with honors in piano and composition. She attended Oberlin Conservatory as an undergraduate, followed by the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, Hungary for graduate studies. She is completing her Doctor of the Musical Arts degree with Gilbert Kalish at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her former teachers include Ferenc Rados, Lidia Frumkin, and Enrique Graf. She has coached with Gyorgy Sebok, Julius Levine, Leon Fleisher and Bob McDonald. She has performed in Europe, the Middle East, South America and the United States. Sir Louis Mbanefo

Louis Nwachukwu Mbanefo was born in Onitsha, Eastern Nigeria on the 13th of May 1911. He was educated at The Methodist Boys High School in Lagos and subsequently at the prestigious Kings College, also in Lagos, which was modelled on Eton and Harrow Colleges and where he ws a keen Cricketer and Footballer- all these between the years 1925-1932. He was then admitted to the University College London, where he studied Law, graduating Second Class Upper in 1935 and was called to the Bar at The Middle Temple later on in the same year. He was then admitted to Cambridge, where he obtained a further Degree in the Humanities in 1937. He returned home to Nigeria and set up practice in his hometown of Onitsha and is on record as the first Lawyer from the East of Nigeria.
