Ijeoma "The Praise" Egbunine

Female boxing may not be your thing, but we have a world champion. Ijeoma "The Praise" Egbunine is a female boxer and currently the WBE Light Heavyweight World Champion/ WIBF Light Heavyweight World Champion. She is described by Women’s Boxing magazine as a fighter of unparalleled aggression, strength, and technique. Team Egbunine describes her as a "superior athlete with a lion's heart whose shining record is testament to both her profound faith and her terrifying ferocity inside the ring."

A couple of years ago, Ijeoma was scheduled to step in the ring with Laila Ali (Mohammed Ali’s daughter) but she backed out because the money wasn’t right. According to her promoter Kerry Smith ““Getting 10 percent of what Laila Ali makes just isn’t going to cut it,”

Ijeoma’s record is: Won 15 (KO 10), Lost 2 (KO 1) and drawn 0
