Stanley was like a mentor to George and George after his school certificate got admitted to King's College, lagos much later in Stanley's footsteps.
Stanley's stay in Nigeria was more like a sacrifice as he had some international appeal as everyone knew he could have fared better, earning higher if he chose to stay overseas. But love for home kept him back home in Nigeria even when the authorities made it virtually impossible for him to earn some decent living. True to Fela's song, he died 'for nothing', wholly wasted by those in power.
I was appalled to read the horrors attending his last days on earth and I pray that in the minds of many colleagues, Stanley Macebuh would not be easily forgotten but remain refreshed and cherished, a worthy soul who once thrived among mortals here on our planet.nnannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01011863248099962385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6235026897153498579.post-9584635435362939382010-10-02T19:42:17.273+01:002010-10-02T19:42:17.273+01:00I thought it best to simply make a correction to a...I thought it best to simply make a correction to a huge error (no offence) Dr Stan, made a First Class in his Bachelors and not a Second Class Honours (Upper Division)Bless him.xxxxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
